Andy Lewis

Educated at Dulwich College, London, Andy then graduated from Newcastle University with a BEng(Hons) in Naval Architecture. He then joined the Royal Navy to train as a Pilot in the Fleet Air Arm before leaving in late 1994. He graduated with an MBA from City University Business School, London, the following year.
Before founding LG & Partners Andy was Account Director within QinetiQ responsible for the Naval Platform Systems business. He led Targeted Naval business Development Activities maintaining and developing QinetiQ’s strategic position in the naval market place world-wide.
Before joining QinetiQ, Andy was Business Development Director for Thales Naval responsible for developing the company’s positioning on future major Naval platform programmes including FSC and MARS.  Prior to this role Andy was Strategy Director on the successful Thales Future Aircraft Carrier Project (CVF) bid team developing and implementing the strategic vision to  ensure the team’s win objectives were achieved.  He had moved to Thales from BAE Systems where he was Business Development Manager responsible for winning new business for the Barrow, Scotstoun and Govan Shipyards.  Prior to the merger with British Aerospace he was Strategic Planning Manager for Marconi Naval Systems.
